Genecia Alluora: Hello, gorgeous, and welcome to today's episode. I'm your host, Genecia Alluora, and I'm going to share with you how to build your confidence, your self worth, and connect with your audience at the same time. Now, we don't believe that we are worthy because mindset is really at the core of it. Your belief is about what is possible for you and your business. So I've got something that I want you to try. It's an exercise in believing in yourself and your worth, in your confidence. So I want you to quote yourself. You are worthy and your audience is longing for the exact thing that you have been wanting to say. So quote yourself. Quote yourself meaning is a quote. Quote images are hugely popular right now in social media, and I'm certainly sure that this will definitely help you to build your confidence because we are all visual creatures and I love using visuals to build our own confidence, like vision board and all these things. So I want you to do a quote. So how? Number one, go into Canva, CANVA. Go subscribe to this free software that's super amazing. Go to Instagram Post, which is a square.

Genecia Alluora: Go and select Instagram Post and then put in your quotes. So the quote images can be created by anyone. No skills, design skills needed. You just have to put your words in it and they are very easy. And then I want you to export in JPEG or PDF and save it on your phone because you need to put these images in your mind consistently. So I've got some suggestions for you. First and foremost, how do you figure out what to say? How do you figure out what to put into the quotes to boost up your confidence and yet be able to connect with your audience? So let's try this. Number one, figure out what is it that you want to say. What is that thing you wish everyone in your community would take on board? What do you seem to say to your community over and over again? What repeats in your blog post, repeats in your podcast, repeats in your social media post, your product descriptions, or in the product themselves? What does your community know you for and what is your voice inside their head? Ask them. Number two, create a list of your own quotes.

Genecia Alluora: Be real and simple. It's not even a tagline or elevator pitch. It's just you being you talking about stuff that you really care about with people who care about it, too. I always say when a woman changes her life, her entire community benefits. Sell to everybody, sell to nobody. Speak to one, speak to many. These are my quotes that I put out there. So you can get feedback from the people whom you love, what you do and think that you're awesome. Or sometimes you just need a pair of fresh eyes or an unbiased opinion to get the wording right. Don't need to be perfect. Just find the one that works and copy it. Perhaps you have just one thing that you have said or shared that really resonates and relates to people. Like, for example, I just shared with you for women who love the F word, being fabulous, having freedom, financial independence, and a happy family. So you just need to do it. Just list them all up. Number three, get them out there. Now that I've introduced you Canva, you can also use Pic monkey. These are the two free tools that I absolutely love to use.

Genecia Alluora: And you can create a set of social media shareable images, something like you would share on Facebook, pinters, Instagram, your blog. Remember, use a square. It's easy to start with. Don't try too many sizes at the beginning, just use a square. Then create a combination of your quotes your phrases or your signature words. This can take a form of a poster. I mean, all the squares that I've asked you to put together. So it can be just words. It doesn't have to have picture. Okay? Really, it's just you have 10 or 20. Just put it in together in a short video even. So even if you're not into doing something very visual because you're not very techy, right? Why don't you just use some cue cards? Cue cards, basic but functional. Cue cards, write your quotes and then stack them together and remind yourself on these things. Because sometimes we do have a lot of wisdom that is within us. We have a lot of a lot of creativity, and there's the diamond that is within us that's deserving to shine. But the thing is, sometimes we are so scared about presenting ourselves and connecting with our audience and we don't know what to say. And the best part is just start somewhere. Don't need to be perfect because just keep in mind, there's one thing when you work on this little exercise, because these quotes can really inspire someone who might just chance upon your social media.

Genecia Alluora: Don't see yourself small because there are people you wish to serve them. And maybe those things that you think that is not important can actually serve them and add value to their lives. So when you do that, they might be just sharing and saving the image and save it and to remind them on how they should live day to day or do their business online or build their brand, bring their leadership online, whatever the case may be. Do something about your confidence, but expressing yourself now, today. Because when you do that, you just take a moment to share that small impact that you are creating in people's life. And whatever small little thing that you're doing now that you think is small is actually a big thing in someone else's life. So never play small on that.

And in this moment, remind yourself that you are worthy and you are confident and you have a diamond within you that you deserve to shine. And we all have a part to play in this.
