128: How To Build Your Confidence And Connect With Your Audience At The Same Time

It is an innovation of how we connect with each other. And we don’t just follow anyone — we follow leaders who have command of the business. But how do you work out where your audience is?

01:51- 02:09 We don’t believe we are worthy. Mindset is really at the core of all of it. Your belief about what is possible for you and your business. So I’ve got something I would like for you to try, it's an exercise in believing in yourself and your worth.

02:11- 02:22 I want you to quote yourself. "You are worthy and your audience is longing for the exact thing that you have been wanting to say." so quote yourself.

Figure out what it is that you want to say

3:52 - 4:24 Number one: Figure out what it is that you want to say. What is the thing you wish everyone in your community would take on board? What do you seem to say to your community over and over? What repeats in your blog posts, podcasts, social media posts, your product descriptions, or in the products themselves? What does your community know you for? What is your voice inside their head? Ask them.

4:27 - 4:43 Number two: Create a list of your own quotes. Be real and simple. It’s not about the tagline or elevated pitch. It's just you being you, talking about the stuff you really care about with people who care about it too.

06:59- 07:09  The thing is, sometimes we are so scared about presenting ourselves and connecting with our audience and we don’t know what to say. Just start somewhere. You don’t need to be perfect.
