Genecia Alluora: Hello, gorgeous, and welcome to today's episode, Soul Why? Secrets of the Soul Rich Woman Blueprint. I'm your host, Genecia Alluora. I'm very glad to share with you today on this topic about selling speaker versus a trainer. What are the key differences? Now, a trainer is something that I've done in my past 17 years of my life and still growing where I just teach their objectives being met. I have the learners learnings at heart. I must make sure that I deliver in a corporate setting to a company, to employees, to people in a classroom where my learners are able to achieve an achievable outcome.

Genecia Alluora: Which means I probably need to teach, for example, in my own program, I teach EQ, I teach emotional intelligence in my training programs. I teach how you can master your emotions with my EQ programs. I teach you how to master your mindset with my NLP programs and all the other charisma, being a charisma leader program. So all these are being delivered in half a day, one day training programs. Even in my Soul Rich Woman Blueprint program or my podcast digital home study program. So all these are what we call the training programs where a trainer has got deliverables and have to really get the learners to learn something. For example, even value investing in a three day program. We share with you how you can do value investing. And by the end of it, you will have basic knowledge and to be able to get out there to do value investing.

Genecia Alluora: So you get an idea. This is what a trainer will do. Now, a selling speaker, someone who is able to stand on stage and sell. Now, the stage is offline. It could be a big event with 1000 to 10,000 people in an event, or even an online stage, where it's like a webinar online program for 60 to 90 minutes up to 3 hours, where you share your knowledge and then sell without selling. You still teach some concepts, but you get them to invest in themselves. Now, why am I sharing with you these two key differences? In 2019, in an event where I did with Success Resources, in one single event, within 90 minutes, I did $1 million in sales figure. Yeah. $1 million in 90 minutes. How is that possible? Well, because I was able to deliver and be a selling speaker without selling. I was able to provide immense value while getting the people sitting on the floor or watching the webinar to invest in themselves to go to the next level by first giving value like crazy.

Genecia Alluora: Being a trainer and being a selling speaker both meet the same objectives. We both have to give value like crazy. We both have to deliver the objectives that the learner will learn something and be able to take away. But the biggest bit of aura for me, my breakthrough was I never was able to sell because being a celebrity for a very long time, I did not need to sell. People just come up to me because I was on TV, on radio or magazine, I didn't need to do any selling or promoting. In another words, I was like an influencer. People just see what I post and what I use, and people just buy it. But over the years, when you progress, when I progress to become a business owner, that no longer worked for me. I needed to overcome my fear of promoting my programs, the fear of selling my value.

Genecia Alluora: I was afraid that people would judge me, that I'm selling and promoting my courses. And I was so afraid that they will say that I'm just too expensive, I'm lousy, I'm not good enough. But think about it. When I mastered the art of selling from my mentor, James Wee, in 2013. I also made my first million dollars. That was because I believed in my product. I believed in my value. That when I hand over my product, it's as though I'm giving you $50 and you giving me just $2 for my $50. So you must first believe in your product so much and then you know that it has generated results and value for your audience, for your customers because you will love your customers more than you love your product. And you've created something for them that will solve one problem immediately.

Genecia Alluora: And that you know when they invest in themselves with you, by purchasing and investing in themselves, by buying your product or your services or your program, they will ten times their financial independence, ten times their fabulous, ten times their freedom and ten times being able to do more with their family. So the main thing about being a selling speaker and a trainer, after having been a trainer, my income was kept at for 4 hours. I earned maybe $5,000. Sometimes one day I make about $10,000 and that's about it. But in 90 minutes, in one event, I could make a million dollars. Mind blowing. So that's one of the key differences between a trainer versus a selling speaker. Sell without big salesy, sell without being pushy. There is a strategy behind it.
