Genecia Alluora: Hello, gorgeous. Welcome to today's episode. I want to share with you how to break through an income plateau, which I what I call a flat line. Now, this is very important because what do you do when you suddenly hit an income plateau? That means flat line. I mean, you were doing really well before and then something happened. It just went ehhhh You know what? Don't worry, I've got at least ten strategies for you to get over those things. Now. You know, I always start off by saying whatever you're experiencing is completely normal. Everybody has got humps in business. A lot of us, especially women, we experience Lady Humps. It's so super normal.

Genecia Alluora: So don't worry about it. Grab your pen and paper and we'll get straight into it. Number one, your income flat line represents your comfort zone. Now, that is why it feels so uncomfortable. It doesn't mean that you are not meant to be successful in business. It doesn't mean that that's the most you are ever going to be able to earn. It is just really a representative of where your comfort level is at the moment. So that whatever that you believe you can earn or how much you believe you can earn and where your mindset is with money right now. It's always very telling to see where you have hit your income flatline. Trust me, you will continue to hit another income flatline as well. Because I've been there, I've done that. I know that this one feels really real, but really it isn't.

Genecia Alluora: Number two, have a really honest look at your Money Blocks. Now, this is a great opportunity to revisit your money beliefs. What are your thoughts and money thoughts and feelings about money right now? What are you telling yourself about money? Maybe you have gone back into your old bad money ways and habits. Or maybe you have forgotten that you need to work on your money mindset all the time. It is literally like taking a shower. After a couple of days, your money mindset starts to sink and stink and smell, and you start to feel bad about money. And that's why you have to work on your money mindset on a regular basis. By the way, I do too. Even though I'm a soul rich woman and I teach women in the soul rich woman blueprint to improve the money mindset, I am constantly working on my blocks.

Genecia Alluora: So if I start to think I know everything there is to know about money, I don't need to worry about this. Well, guess what? My income will become flat line as well. Number three, identify your fears about money. Really get quite specific. What are you actually afraid of if you earn more money? What would happen? Good or bad? Now, if you're willing to look at it, it might give you some valuable information to clear it. Number four, make friends with tax. Now, I know some women who hold themselves back at particular income points because they are afraid of paying more tax. In Singapore, people call our tax IRAs. And you know what? A lot of them just want to stay below the income level so that IRAs will not tax them and they can go under the hood.

Genecia Alluora: Or maybe you're worried about other financial implications as well. Maybe you'll lose particular benefits if you earn more. Maybe you'll have to start paying different types of tax. Maybe you'll have to start charging different taxes to your clients when you earn more. Now, I want you to have a look at your fears to see if there's anything symbolic about this income level for you. Number five, upgrade your mastermind. I mean, yeah, it sounds a little bit mean. But remember, Jim Ron said that your income is the average of the people that you spend the most time with. So look around at your mastermind, the people that you are hanging out with, and be really honest.

Genecia Alluora: Has everyone else's income plateaued as well or flatlined as well? Have you flatlined to the point where everyone else's income is or the average of everyone else's income? So if you want to go beyond that income flat line, it might be time for you to move into a mastermind like soul rich woman where people are earning more money because then it will inspire you to increase that for yourself as well. Six, set a new goal. Now, this is really funny. When women hit income goals, often they haven't thought about the next one. They're like, I don't know why I'm not earning more. It's like the universe is saying, You haven't told us what is the next income goal yet. What would you like to earn? And you're like, I don't know, just more money.

Genecia Alluora: What does more money look like to you, my dear? Make sure that you are really very, very clear on the next income goal so that then you can actually know when you've hit it and you've got something to reach beyond that income flat line. Number seven, maybe it's time for a break. So many of us just go next goal, next goal, next goal. Make more money, make more money, make more money, make more money without anything in between. No wonder sometimes we feel like our F word, fabulous, freedom, financial success, financial independence, and happy family feels so far away and empty. Our soul is empty. A soul rich woman without a soul because we are not acknowledging them. We're just like, That's not good enough. What's next? That's not good enough. What's the next one? You're just moving your goal post further and further and further. You know what? Sometimes you do need to take stock when you've hit an income flat line and say this, you know what? Look how far I've come. This is amazing.

Genecia Alluora: Celebrate your wins. Take a little breather and then you can regroup for your next goal. Number eight, have creativity breaks. What is going to help you to go to the next level? Fresh ideas, new products, service and offerings. Now, creativity requires getting out of your current environment. Go somewhere new, spend more time meditating, go to the beach, or do something fun so you can take that creativity refresh. It's not going to be the same ideas as before that will get you to the next level. Find a mentor, get someone to guide you. Okay? It will take new ideas, new creativity, and new brain power. And then number nine, give yourself permission to earn more. Actually, really, not joking. Give yourself permission to earn more. Repeat after me, it's safe for me to make more money. It's safe for me to go to the next level. It's safe for me to out earn other people. It's safe for me to earn more than my friends. It's safe for me to make more money. It's safe for me to go to the next level. I forgive myself and I set myself free. This is my time and I'm ready for the next step. Give yourself permission to break past this income flat line. I think that is probably more important than anything else. Giving yourself permission to make more money.

Genecia Alluora: You are a soul rich woman, you know. I know some of you might tell me, Genecia, of course I want to earn more. But you know that it is okay for you at the soul level for you to earn. Remind yourself constantly. Number 10, get hustling. What got you to where you are now? Keep the stuff that works and throw away those that doesn't. Get hustling to the next income level. Don't just sit there and whine and complain. The best way to fail is to complain every single day, 24 hours a day. I know for myself every time I've been at an income flat line, I tell myself that I start to make up stories like, Oh, no, this is not real. It's okay. I could get through this one. But you know what? They are not. When you see that you already flat line in your income, that means you're already not bringing any more money, nobody's going to pay you. Then you really going to do and have new strategies.

I just want to say that when I hit my six figures and make more money than my peers, I just want to say that it was because I stood that I stand at a point where I was willing to get out of my comfort zone and go towards the dreams I've always wanted to achieve.
