Genecia Alluora: Hey, gorgeous, I'm Genecia Alluora your money mindset mentor today. How are you? I hope that you have been doing well. Today's topic is about how to manage your money. Now, this is really something real because I'm seeing this a lot in our industry. I mean, making money is one thing, but how do you actually take care of it so that you can manifest more? I've seen so many women over the last year sabotage themselves, fall into unhealthy habits, giving themselves excuses, and that they have to quit their businesses altogether, which is very bad. But you know what? This doesn't have to be you. It can be really simple to be a better steward of your money so that the universe can send you more. So let's get into it.

Genecia Alluora: First and foremost, hire a professional. Now, the first thing I want you to do is to hire someone to help you with the money. While you might be used to hiring people in your business so far, but you could be neglecting the money side, this is when you need to hire your first accountant, bookkeeper upgrade, or find somebody to actually help you to grow your wealth. When it comes to things like bookkeeping, you might think, no, I can actually do this myself. Well, I hear this a lot. Now, the truth is, you really do not need to do this yourself. Because if this is not something that is your zone of genius, then it's going to be really tough. So when I first started my business, I remember thinking, oh my God, an accountant or bookkeeper seems so fancy. But running a private limited company, it was necessary. I just had receipts everywhere.

Genecia Alluora: Things were out of place. It was a total mess. So I called finally an accountant or bookkeeper and asked them, hey, look, I really want to hire you but let me do something about it first. Okay? So you see, this was a real turning point in my business because up until then I was still trying to do something that I wasn't really good at, even though there was software available, trying to figure things out, going round and round in circles and beating myself up over it. I was really crap. I would not say crap crap, but really lousy being a steward of my money. That's why it was not an easy journey to accept that and I will want to focus in my zone of genius rather than focus on my weaknesses. And having someone like an accountant or bookkeeper is a very symbolic way to show the universe that you are going to take care of your money. Eventually, it did make me feel like a pro and you can really avoid problems to track down all your tax and stuff as well.

Genecia Alluora: So you just need to start on it. Well, another way is to have a simple money system. Now this is a money system that I personally use, which is to track my money every single day. I look at my PayPal account, I look at my Stripe account, I look at my business bank account every single day, not only to see what's going on expense wise, but also remind me that I'm in business to make money. So I actually write down the balance of my PayPal or Stripe account every single day. Because I remember in those first couple of years when I started writing down $0 on my own spreadsheet, it really motivated me to go up and chase those clients or to send those invoices to really focus on income producing activities. And not all that procrastination stuff that comes up in the business. Well, these systems don't have to be super fancy.

Genecia Alluora: I've seen a lot of women get into trouble because they don't actually know what's coming in and they don't really know what's going out. So you just make sure you look at the stuff because it's again, very, very symbolic. Number three, identify your money blocks. The third and probably the most biggest thing that made a difference for me was a huge turning point in my business is that I worked on my money blocks. I was spending a lot of money on things like courses, online courses, events and many more things that weren't giving me that mindset boost I needed. And really without that you can go off the tangent and really be off the muck without even knowing it was a self sabotage. So I had a fundamental belief that money was really hard to get, that I had to work really hard to make money, really super hard and that stuff that was going to sabotage me no matter how many amazing strategies I've seen. So I've seen so many things that happen to a lot of entrepreneurs and they actually can make the money, but they can't keep it because they don't realize that they have these underlying sabotages patterns around money.

Genecia Alluora: So money itself will not cure or heal your money blocks. It actually amplifies them times 100. And that is why when you see rich and famous people totally screw over their money situation, it's because they have not deal with the underlying stuff. And when you know that your particular money block to look out for, you won't do those things like overspending, buying new things every single time or blocking money from coming to you in the first place, that means you can't really receive money or sabotaging things when things are really getting good. And guess what? This is an ongoing process and no one will absolutely change your life for the better. I mean, the one that will change your life when you know your money block and I know mine, it's that you have to work really hard to make money and then you get to know the warning signs. So you will not be one of those victims of this crazy time in business.
