[00:02:20]
Genecia Alluora: It because the way users are getting engaged, people are engaged at different points. It takes 3 to 7 seconds to keep someone's attention. They're just 3 to 7 seconds. An average YouTube watch time is four minutes. Facebook is only 60 to 90 seconds. A podcast, on average episodes for about 20 minutes to 30 minutes. And I want to tell you here, podcasting allow people to be fully engaged in your show. They listen to it 80% at least to it for 80% of the entire episode. So people who watch YouTube, four minutes. People who look at Facebook, 60 to 90 seconds. And if a podcast is 20 minutes long, they will listen almost 80%. So that's how you can engage your future clients.
[00:03:22]
Genecia Alluora: I know this person his name is Alex Mendozian, and when I interviewed him, he talked about how he got high end clients, 100K clients, 5K clients, 10K clients from his podcast. How cool is that? Can you imagine getting clients from your podcast that's paying you 5000, $10,000, $10,0000. So how did all these things happen? So it can only happen because 3.1s you put yourself in their years or you put someone there to let you, you kind of like talk to them for the next 20 minutes and they are there, or ten needs, you are there with them. So you keep your listeners super engaged. Also, in podcasting, there is far less competition. Only one. So in YouTube right now, there's 1 billion accounts, 1 billion YouTube accounts.
[00:04:37]
Genecia Alluora: There's about 100 million Instagram users, 20 million active blocks, 42 million Facebook pages, and, well, podcast is only on the rise. So definitely there is far less competition. And that is why I keep saying this. This is an effort and boat and trend that you don't want to miss. This is like ten years ago when YouTube and videos are rising up and right now in the video market is very competitive. And now podcasting is at the stage in Asia where really, really not as competitive, far less competition as compared to doing videos. And this is the time to get on to the bandwagon. And basically, for podcasting, there's no rules or limit to what you can do, and they are not tied to any so called social media platforms. That means you can own your own podcast. You own the thing. And like, for example, if you put a video on, let's say, Facebook, what if Facebook closed down? There will be no more Facebook and your content will be gone.
[00:05:57]
Genecia Alluora: That's why we always recommend you to put your content on your own site, right? Like, podcasting is not tied to any specific platform, so you can distribute it widely. So, like, Soul Rich Woman's podcast, we distribute it widely. Like, not just on one, two platforms. Whenever we can distribute or wherever we can distribute, we distribute it to the all the different platforms possible. The reason is because it's not tied to anything. Okay, so the opportunity in podcasting is where online video was ten years ago. So this is cool, right? So you can own your media, not Facebook. Own your media. You own your media, you own your podcast. You own your audio, not YouTube, not any other platforms, but you. Okay? So podcasts are platform agnostic and not tied to one single ecosystem.
[00:07:01]
Genecia Alluora: So it will therefore also lead to better results for your brand, because you can connect with your potential customers easily, because audio takes you deeper for longer. podcasts, where it's a highly engaged medium when compared to online video or news feeds. And also you are in control. Okay? This shifting landscape means only one thing opportunity. So get better results for your brand, connect with potential customers easily with podcasting. So today, why I'm here to tell you this, because it is important. And you have been hearing me talking about this, yes, because it's rising and I want you to be a part of it.

Because at least 80% of the listeners tune in for the entire episode as compared to YouTube and Facebook. Number two, there's far less competition than 1 billion YouTube accounts.
[00:08:48]
