Genecia Alluora: Hello gorgeous. Welcome to Soul Why, Secrets of the Soul Rich Woman blueprint. I'm your host, Janisha allora welcome to today's episode and I want to share with you how you can get interviewed on podcast so that you can get seen and heard in different countries, different platform, and get more leads and get yourself being positioned as a leader in the online world. As of today, we have been interviewed by, I will say, let me see, I've interviewed in hundreds and hundreds of podcasts and I will say I really appreciate those leaders who have interviewed me. Like Anik Singhal. He has interviewed myself as well on his show. The Fighting entrepreneur. And I'm really thankful for all these great opportunities and friendships that has forged and formed in this duration on this journey.

Genecia Alluora: And I absolutely love it when we are able to connect in this online space. It's not just about just randomly doing stuff, it's always about that bigger dream and vision you have. So if you have been following me for a while or if you are new here, welcome to this episode. And for those of you who have and for you who has been following me for a while. I just want to say that this journey you will hear me talking about aligning yourself to whatever you're doing towards your dreams. So what you're doing now and your dreams and then how far are you at and how can you work towards it, right? So, same thing. I have been working very hard with my team and we get on 20 podcasts every single month, literally. If possible, 20, if not ten. Yeah. So every single month I get myself interviewed and seen on podcast. At least 20 every single month. I allocate time to do this and it's outside of my working hours.

Genecia Alluora: That means I, for example, start work at nine, I finish by six, for example, I'll do it at morning. A lot of my interviews are done 07:00 a.m or 08:00 a.m and then 10:00 p.m or 11:00 p.m. So my interview slots are usually the 07:00 A.m., 08:00 A.m., 10:00 P.m., 11:00 P.m. Slots. The reason being I don't want it to affect my work because I need to settle down and get myself prepared for an interview and usually last up to 30 minutes to an hour. But it's the preparation work before that. You have to get yourself ready to be that energy on fire on that. That flow so that when people ask you questions, you can present yourself the best way. Because podcast is not like something you watch on TV one time and it's gone once. It's there, it's going to be there for life.

Genecia Alluora: As long as that publisher or that podcast host who has interviewed you, that episode is going to be there. So let me a view first and foremost why being seen and heard on podcast interviews are great because like what I've shared with you is a good way for you to share your message. And the one reason why I always do this, I keep doing this, is because I really want people to know what Soul Rich Woman is doing. And as the founder of Soul Rich Woman, it is my responsibility and role to do international networking. And that's how I network online. By getting into other people's podcast, being seen and interviewed. I network with them, I make friends with them, I forge relationships either in partnerships or in some other ways. That comes back to me abundantly. There was one person who interviewed me. His name is David Trotter.

Genecia Alluora: He is the podcast host of Inspiration Rising. And because of my podcast interview that inspired him as an author, a best selling author, he actually put my interview and my quotes into his book Power to Rise, and which is the best selling in the online world. His book is talking about rising up. Bring your inspiration to the world. Having more confidence to embrace your true identity, uncovering your superpowers and bring your inspiration to the world. It so when I do podcasting, that means being interviewed by other people. These are some of the site things that may happen. You being in another book without you pitching, without you begging, without you chasing other people. Hey, would you want to feature me on your show? No. It doesn't work that way because you prove your value right?

Genecia Alluora: So that's one of the reasons why I want to share my message with the world and just my own. Yes, I am sharing my message, but by getting onto other people's platforms and podcast. Well, I share my message as well. So that is the one thing. That why you must also consider doing this. But you must be willing to put in the time and effort to do this. Okay? So it's not easy, I will say as well. But you definitely need to commit yourself to this journey and be consistent about it. So the question is how right? How can you get invited? How can I get invited? So, first and foremost, you must know your positioning. What do you want to speak about? I speak a lot about online authenticity, branding. That means setting yourself up for success as a female entrepreneur, how do I launch my community successfully, how do we do a business subscription business model? And how I overcome my own journey of struggles and failures and my own success.

Genecia Alluora: So these are the things I talk about and we put it out there. Second thing you need to do is to prepare a bio, a bio that is about you, the topics that you talk about and maybe some relevant YouTube videos or previous speaking engagements or some posters that you may have or articles that you may have that is about you. Like, I will put in my CNBC interview. I'll put in my interview from China Daily. I'll put in my speaking engagements with rich woman, with Kim Kiyosaki. So I'll put in all these things so that people will know you what you do in the shortest possible time. Because number three, people don't have time over the other side of the world. Wherever they are at, they don't have time. There are probably many people who are writing to them and saying that would you like to explore? To have you being on their podcast, right?

Genecia Alluora: They don't have a lot of time to do that. So to help them to shorten their research is to present the best version of yourself forward to them easily in a structured manner. Your bio, your short, write up what you have done before so that it's in a package where it's easily sent off to these people and then finding the right categories to be able to see as experts in their respective areas. Like for us, we look into entrepreneurship, we'll look into investing, we'll look into inspirational, inspiring podcast and of course various ways and various platforms. People whom we'll reach out to, depending on their profile as well. So when you are doing this whole whole thing of outreach, okay, this is just a way where I'm sharing with you is just like a way that we are doing it.

Genecia Alluora: It is important for you to fine tune your processes depending on who you're targeting and also how you are sharing your message on different podcasts, on different platforms. And that is very important. Okay? So overall, in conclusion, to be invited to any podcast, you must first put in the effort. Don't be sloppy about it because first impression counts. And number two, the digital footprint that have online was it 1 hour ago, a podcast was published about you. Three days ago, someone else wrote an article about you. One month ago, someone else talked about you. So you want to kind of build up that momentum to be relevant, consistent, and kind of being able to let people see that you are credible. Trustworthy, because trust is missing in the online space right now. And to establish trust, it's like finding a pot of gold, getting the gem right, finding that you are the diamond.

Genecia Alluora: And you got to shine to let people trust that shine, that glow that you have. Because by that first impression, by that trust of your own digital footprint, when people search you, put your name into Google, what will they find about you? What will they find? So it is important to let people see you consistently in the online world. Gone are the days where when you are being interviewed in the media five years ago, six years ago, and then you hold on to these logos and put it on your website and you think that it's going to be beneficial to you. But when people search you, probably the website has already gone away, their web page has expired or the article is no longer there. And what makes you relevant in this online space and online world that people want to get closer to you, hire you, pay you the money so that you can pay your bills, you can rise up to the next level as a female entrepreneur, to be seen as a thought leader, influencer and business owner.

Genecia Alluora: All these things need to be staged up. You need to build up that portfolio. Gone are the days where you just have a Facebook page or Instagram account and you are seen as leader or thought leader. Gone are the days you need to live outside of social media. There must be multiple platforms, 1000 platforms out there, or people talking about of you being seen as the trustworthy, the credible, the inspiring thought leader, the business owner, the influencer the people all want to connect with. They all want to be a part of your network. They all want to be the five people that they want to hang out with the most. And then this is the reason and the driving force why I get into podcasting and why I get myself into other people's podcast. Because I truly want to continue to serve, inspire and connect, to build trust and connection with my people, with my audience and my role. Continue to do international networking online by people whom are credible, absolutely amazing and super, super positive. So, okay.
