Genecia Alluora: Hello and welcome to Soul Why Secrets of the Soul Rich Woman Blueprint. I'm your host, Genecia Alluora. Today my topic is why do we do clarity calls or coaching calls at the lowest part of the value ladder? What is value ladder, Genecia? Sounds so confusing. Okay, I will save that for another episode. But first I want to talk about why do we do like a teaser or appetizer kind of, you know, a piece in our business to kind of see whether we can be a good fit or not. Yes, that's right. The main reason why I encourage you, okay? Whether you are a service provider, you are B2B business owner, you are a female entrepreneur, you're a mum, premier, whichever premier you are, always have a teaser packet right up front in order to filter off people whom are not suitable. Through many years because I have gone online and I've used this method of filtering through clarity calls that are not free anymore. Previously long, long time ago, when I was doing image consultancy, still trading time for money, my meetups were free. I will go for coffee at Starbucks for a few hours, you know, trying to Hey, hello, how are you? And do that presentation kind of thing and it's free.

Genecia Alluora: And whether you are selling a $20 product or $2,000 product in a few hours, definitely you won't be able to sell or promote or close or market to the client or potential client to be, because first and foremost, that first part was not already valued at a certain value that both parties agree on. Which means the power of the value exchange. So why am I talking about this? Previously I did it for free. And then later on I moved online and I learned how to charge my worth. I know it seems like a lot of things happening in one episode, but I'm trying to share with you. It's all interrelated. This teaser piece is related to an appetizer is related to a piece of value exchange is related to how much do you think your time is worth and how much are you worth as a person. In terms of, you know, you think your knowledge and your skills and time is really worth literally. And many women are in the charge themselves. They are not willing to do that $68 or a hundred bucks for that filtering process because they think they are not worthy or they just feel very uncomfortable.

Genecia Alluora: Are money beliefs? Yes, that's right. So you see, just in one topic, there's so many pieces happening. But my main focus here is filtering, which is having a teaser piece that allows you and your customers or potential customers to agree that the time is valuable and that allows you to check each other out whether both of you are a good fit or not. So we're not discussing about or whether you should charge $68 or $38 for that consultation, you know, or what? No, not so much of that. More of a filtering process. But let me put the perspective for you. Why do you pay a lawyer a first upfront consultation fee and then eventually decide whether to engage or not to engage the lawyer? Why do you pay a doctor IT consultation fee and then later on decide whether to move ahead with the treatments or not to become his patient? Then isn't your business the same thing? Is, are you any lesser than a doctor or a lawyer?

Genecia Alluora: I mean, literally, is your years of knowledge and accumulation of experiences not worth more equal than that? That is the question I want to put into your mind today. Are you charging what your worth? Are you using any teaser or appetizer pieces that is payable so that at least your time spent can be also looking into filtering customers who are serious about you and your products and your services, and then letting them decide whether you are a good fit or not. And comparing to that for hours at a coffee joint. Ding dong, ding dong. And then not even sure if you can close the customer or not. And not even being able to sell anything at all. And your time is wasted. Coffee money is wasted. Transportation is wasted. So, are you looking to implement the strategy of a teaser advertiser into your business as a part of a filtering process so that you can make sure that you sell to everybody you sell to nobody.
