Genecia Alluora: Hello, gorgeous. Welcome to today's episode. Blessed Day to you. Today's episode, I want to talk about how to sell high ticket items. Well, depending where you are at. Well, at least for myself, when I was an image consultant back in 2012 and earlier than that, the usual typical charges for a consultancy package was $400 to $500 for maybe four sessions or maybe even five sessions, well, depending on what exactly you're doing. So the packages are small, and there are a lot of things that the consultant needed to fulfill. But my package that I sold in the past was already at $5000 or $10,000 packages for eight sessions or 12 sessions back already in 2012 and before that. So the question is, how did I do that then? So hold that thought and let me share with you now moving forward now, over the years after accumulated my experiences, my failures, my hardship, my succesship. All right. Now my mentorship programs is $38,888. So that's already in the five figures. And then my mastermind is $50,000 mastermind and my highest tier. My super high level coaching programs or mentorship programs is it's $100,000.
[00:03:29]
Genecia Alluora: So how did I get here and how did I do it? So you see, there's two spectrums that one was before how I grew like eight, 12 sessions at 5000, 8000, $10,000 packages to now 38 and eight for 12 sessions and then 50 masterminds and then 100K mentorships, super high level for really ambitious women who really want things done at a level where it's completely different. Okay. So the first key that I want to share with you. Okay, How do you even start? The numbers may look very big to you. And I want you to just take a breather and look at it carefully. First and foremost, how are you positioning yourself? You see, when we talk about I'm an image consultant, there is someone else who took the same certification as me. Someone else on the left, someone else on the right. And especially now when it's online, the moment you Google image consultant. You know, all dressing, you know, dressing stylised or whatever the keywords you're looking at to look for an image consultant. Are you being found? Do you have a digital footprint that consumers, customers, clients can look at it and immediately trust, you know, like and trust you there and then when they look at your reviews, they look at what you're doing, you know, whether because they are looking at all the image consultants right now and how are you different? Right.
[00:05:17]
Genecia Alluora: So the keyword here is be different in order to make a difference. Repeat after me. Be different in order to make a difference. Come on, one more time. Be different in order to make a difference. That's right. So how was I positioned differently? So I never, ever sold myself as an image consultant. I never told people, Yeah, my image consultant. You can hire me as an image consultant. I crafted something of my own. I call myself a charisma coach. Yes, but that was back in 2012. Okay. Before I went online. So I call myself a charisma coach and marketed myself as a charisma coach for C-suite, for decision makers. And by doing so, when I positioned myself differently and when they check my background, you know, I was an image consultant. I've got NLP, I've got so many different certifications involved, I was Miss Singapore and blah blah blah and have gone on different stages to speak. All these comes into play. It makes a different impression than versus head on certificate upon a certificate. Get it?
[00:06:36]
Genecia Alluora: There is no difference between you and the other person when you just put, for example, an NLP cert. Okay, an NLP coach versus another person. Hey, I'm also an NLP coach. Then the question to you will be How are you different from the other person? So moving forward a timeline when I'm charging $38,888 and then $50,000 mastermind and the super mentorship programs at 100 K. Now the difference is I don't tell people, oh, you know, I'm just a mentor, you know, I mean, you know, women empowerment mentor. No, I put on the table. I ran a cafe retail chain. We grew to three countries Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and then we had 18 franchisees. And after four years we exited to a public listed company owner. Bam. It differentiated myself immediately because I have experience running on the ground retail businesses. Not that I went online and became a millionaire online and I don't have on the ground experience. And that's what business owners are looking at, right? People are looking at you. Do you just have online experience? You know, are you missing something? So how are you going to position yourself that makes you different?
[00:08:05]
Genecia Alluora: And then, you know, I was from a Singapore and had all my media experiences and because of that I was able to look at a person in my mentorship slightly differently. Even though I transited out of the image consultancy field into the business field, the entrepreneurship field, helping business owners, female entrepreneurs, not to find 9 to 5 employees to find their talent and turn their talent into a business and turn their passions into paycheck. So all these things were possible because I listed these pieces that made me different, that stood out from the rest of the mentors. And a plus, if you are a woman and you are kind of positioned as you know, if the ladies okay, if your mentees are looking for a female mentor. So it's really all about your positioning. How are you positioning yourself in the marketplace that allows you to be different in order to make a difference?
[00:09:12]
Genecia Alluora: So this is something I want you to think about. So action plan list down three things that truly can make you different in order for you to be different. Okay? Be different in order to make a difference. Okay. And of course, last but not least, in my positioning, I've grown a, you know, a network of female entrepreneurs across the region and has already a business that has reached out to thousands and thousands of women in Southeast Asia, in Asia, and now on route to go global. So all these pieces are important to select out and put it together. And also, last but not least, if you find a female mentor, especially a Singaporean from Asia, standing beside big giants like Sheryl Sandberg, Neil Patel, Gary Vaynerchuk. Who else? Kim. 1.1s Elena Cardon. All these are things that makes you stand apart from people.
[00:10:26]
Genecia Alluora: And of course, Genecia but I'm new. I don't know how. So even though you don't have experiences as me, it's okay. At least first list out your certifications, right? What did you study? What did you graduate in and what do you have? Then I want to you to list out what exactly you have been really good at that people think that you're really good at. Sometimes what we think we're really good at is not that important. It's sometimes the things that other people think that we are really good at that is very important. That we may get some ideas that, Wow, this is my skill, this is my talent, that I can turn into a business, I'll turn my passion into a paycheck, and that's how you can turn all these things into a great positioning of who you can be in the online marketplace to be seen as a leader online, bring your business online so that you can keep getting clients online. Now, who's interested? If you are, take action now! Looking forward to speak to you in the next episode. Bye for now.
