Genecia Alluora: Hello, gorgeous. Welcome to Soul Why, Secrets of the Soul Rich Woman blueprint. In today's episode, I want to talk about how to be an overcomer. How can you win in your business and your life? Whether you are a nine to five employee, whether you are doing the things that you are loving to do right now. I was watching this movie on Netflix. It was called Overcomer. In fact, I just watched it over the weekend. And whatever time that you're listening to this episode, yes, I watched this and I just felt very strongly about the story. So just let me share it with you. It was a movie in the 2019, and it's called Overcomer. It was when a reluctant basketball coach has to lead the cross country team, and he has only one team member as a girl, and she has asthma, and he learns that his only runner has a history that will challenge both of their beliefs.

Genecia Alluora: So, you know, as a coach, we need to be there, oh, let's cheer the basketball team. Let's cheer the cross country team. For me, as a pageant coach, before, I have to be there physically teaching the person and at the race, whether in the business race, I need to be there teaching the team, teaching the business owner physically there. So when the cross country rule in the movie, the cross country ruling says that you can use recorded recording to help the runner run the race. So there is no opportunity for live communication. But if you have a recorded piece of content that your runner is competing, you can put it into the year, piece put into the year, and then let it be a recorded content and run the cross country race to coach your runner.

Genecia Alluora: And behold, in the story, the runner didn't have a father. When the grandmother raised this girl up, she thought that she didn't have a father. But through some Christian network, they eventually found the father. And the father was a champion, but he was in the hospital. He was hospitalized for a very long because of diabetes. He was already blind and bit readen. So this runner's coach, the coach went to the hospital and did a recording, recording a recorded version to coach this person, this runner, who so happened to be his daughter, to run the race. So, of course, the coach has to do the homework, like, okay, how long is the run going to be based on the last state champion that has run the race, and how long is the course of that racetrack? So after doing the homework, he went to the bed at the hospital and got the father, who was a former champion as well, to record a coaching session while the runner is running the race.

Genecia Alluora: So towards the end of the movie, the coach put the handband and then put the earpiece for the girl to be coached by the father. She didn't know about it, actually. Then later on, just before she started the race, she pressed start. And that was when the father coached her in recorded piece of content, even though he was lying on his hospital bed and he couldn't see and there was nothing that he could do to be there for her. But through this piece of recorded content, this girl who has asthma has never won the race before. Because of this piece of recorded content the father who was bedridden blind in his last days before his death, he was able to coach her through that one piece of recorded content.

Genecia Alluora: And guess what she won? She won the state championship in the movie, running faster than the current state champion, who has won multiple times. It was because of the recorded content. Fast forward. There was this last part of the movie that talks about after six weeks, the father passed away. It and in the movie, the father had already pre recorded every single year, one piece of content for her daughter up to 30 years old. That was what was being shown in the movie up to when she was 30. So every year on her birthday, the guardian, whom is the coach, will send out this piece of content to the runner or to this girl in the movie. And in the movie it showed that she was 21 years old, because that was six years later and she was still receiving that one piece of recorded content from the father who has already passed on more than six years ago during the time that eventually when they found each other. So so what is the moral of the story? At least for me, I saw a few things about myself. First thing, I saw a need to win. For me, I have been a pageant coach. I have been a business coach. And I always wanted to help my runners to win, my business owners to win, my female entrepreneurs to win my Team to win.

Genecia Alluora: I have this need that I want to help people to win. And I don't help myself to win. That means I help them to win. But I forgot about who I am. So I learned and I also reminded myself that I must continuously help myself to win as well. That means continue to play, win, win. Because when we give, we think that we give everything until we are dry. It's the right way, it may not be the right way. So I just want to encourage myself and you that when you give and when you help others to win, you too must remember consistently to keep your cup overflowing, to let yourself win so that you can help more people. And the second lesson I learned from this movie, I was reminded strongly that we should all have recorded content because when I was physically there teaching and coaching pageant queens who won locally, local pageants and international pageants. And then I moved into entrepreneurship, coaching women to win in the game of entrepreneurship, to own and love the F word being fabulous, having freedom, financial independence and family.

Genecia Alluora: And that to me is a sign of winning. But I need it physically to be there. So it's a reminder that I must continuously record myself, which means digitize myself, which means duplicate myself so that I can be the coach that the girl will put a yearpiece in their year. Just like what you're doing right now, whether you listen to me on speaker or on headphones. You'll put me in your year and I'm there, cheerleading you, coaching you every single step of the way. And I cried when I watched the movie. I just am so reminded and so touched that God has given us this gift, given me this gift and ability to understand the logic and process of recording, digitizing, duplicating myself, so that at any time any woman is running the race. It's as though I'm speaking to you and you only. But it is downloaded and listened to a million times and is spread and distributed in more than 100 countries worldwide.

Genecia Alluora: It reminded me that I can be here for you and I can be there for a woman who need me to guide her at any point in time. And it can be even six years later you're listening to this. I can be here guiding you as well, because I have recorded the content. So the father in the movie who has died passed away because of diabetes. He was bedridden, he was blind, and his times were limited. But God gave him an opportunity through the coach to record the content for the daughter who so happened to be the runner on the team of the coach. So nothing happened by chance, nothing happened by coincidence, and everything happened for a reason. And this is truly the reason why I believe in so much, in doing passive income products, doing recordings, recording it, and allowing people to download it from the website, purchase an online program. And because of that, we are able to coach someone else who need it the time of their race, her race, just like you are running your race right now as you're listening to this. Genecia Alluora: So I just want to encourage you today. What are you doing to win the game in your life right now? Don't just focus saying that giving is all that I can do. And you must also take care of yourself. Self love, self worth, self respect must still be there. Number two record yourself. Digitize yourself, duplicate yourself. Whatever you want to tell your daughters, your your sons, your family and the people around you, the community that you serve or the clients that you serve. You can record yourself. I know some of you are introvert. You could be an introvert just like me. And I found joy in podcasting because I don't need to make up, I don't need to dress up as the usual when doing my live streaming. I could just be have an idea and sit down and start recording.
