Genecia Alluora: Hello and welcome to today's episode. My name is Genecia Alluora. I appreciate you today for being here. This is the part two of how to delegate 80% of your to do list. And the question I want to ask you is why are you not delegating yet? So this is something that everyone keeps asking me, Genecia, I'm a solopreneur. I can't delegate. Okay. Something that I want to address. Okay. To each and every one of you listening in right now, do you go for spa? Do you do manicures and pedicures? Do you do massages? Do you go watch movies? Do you go to fancy restaurants and do very good meals every single week? If you said yes to any of the questions, then you have the money to delegate. You have the ability to delegate, to hire someone to. To give them something that you don't like to do or you hate to do, or something that can help you to can become more efficient in your workflow and processes in your business. So $50 is all you need to even get started to hire someone into the business. Okay, to hire someone into the business, whether it's in part time, okay. Or on a freelance basis, or even eventually moving them to full time once you are more ready to do so. $50 a week or $50 a month is all you need to get started.

Genecia Alluora: So how do I get started? Remember I talk about in 2013, I went from offline to online and hired people to bring in. I didn't start hiring 28 people at one shot first. You know, I hired, you know, part timers to come in, you know, to three, like two, three days a week to help me to do some admin work and then some to help me with my social media. And then I built up to, you know, full time. And then I continue to hire more people to build the teams in the various categories or what we call departments. So when you are hiring people in the previous episode, I talk about, you know, beginning, end in mind. Okay? And this episode, I'm talking a lot about how you budget to really hire people even before finding the right people. I'm talking about how do you first budget, right? So I said $50 is all you need like now moving forward in Soul Rich Woman I have a team of 21 and some of these people are virtual. They are not based in a local in the country I'm in. They are based in the Philippines, in Ireland. Some of them are in India.

Genecia Alluora: So we have different people on the team whom I'm working with around the world while growing Soul Rich Woman. So the question is, how do I even get started with $50, right? That's the question you ask. Building up to 21 a team of 21. Well, first I identified what are the roles and positions I need or skills that I need to help me to succeed. So most of the things that I ask my team to do, I have done it personally as a solopreneur before, just as you are. Whether you are new, you are just starting out your 9 to 5 employees. Well, I was just once like you. I was a solopreneur. I did everything on my own and everything else possible. And then I sat down and I decided that I want to free up my time. I want more freedom. I want more time to myself. I want to function in my zone of genius. So I decided that with $50, my first $50, I'm going to hire someone to do my social media. So that's how I got started because I've been doing my managing my social media for many years and I have already found a way to get my content out there. And I have so much content ready to be repurposed and posted across all my social media platforms. So that's how I got started.

Genecia Alluora: First by deciding that that's the first thing I want to do, because this is the first thing that I'm most familiar with in terms of the process and how exactly I want it to be done. I just duplicate it out, put it in the project management tool that I use called Asana. And then later on, just bring the person in and then get training the person in my process, how it's to be done, how to report to me so that I don't need to know the details and just need to know what was done by reading the end of day report and the hourly updates, for example, and then moving them to the timeline to work as a team eventually. So I brought in one who will take care of my Facebook. And it's not just all Facebook. She will only take care of my, for example, Soul Rich Woman's Facebook page and then Soul Rich Woman Instagram account. And then another person will be in charge of my Genecia Alluora Instagram account and of course, my page and then my other areas as well. I've got one who focus on LinkedIn and then LinkedIn page and then LinkedIn profile.

Genecia Alluora: So you must be able to break down in this manner and then slowly work your budgeting upwards as your team grows. So always start from one is the best way and the safest way for you to get a hang of it. How to budget your outsourcing and delegating without overwhelming your own finances right at the beginning. So I still post things myself. Even up to today, my personal profiles, my Instagram. I still post most of the things I post myself, but at the back end there are people who is doing the overall structure that I've already planned out and mapped out for the next one two years. Literally, I have a blueprint to map out how I want to to continue to be consistent, how to position as a thought leader and influencer and business owner and leader in the online space. And all this comes with focusing one thing and one thing only, then expanding your repertoire by increasing the budget. As you get more comfortable in getting more people to support you. And always ask yourself this question.
