Genecia Alluora: Hey, gorgeous. Welcome to today's episode. Well, my name is Genecia Alluora. I'm a mindset, mentor, best selling author, and creative founder of Soul Rich Woman. I have done multiple businesses, run a female entrepreneur network, and every day I am still working on my money blocks every single day. And today, I help entrepreneurs and women, all individuals like yourself, to identify and clear your money blocks so that you can earn the money you deserve and break through your income blocks. So let's talk about money blocks. What are money blocks? These are questions that I often get from people who probably hurt me doing live streaming. They hurt me share on other podcasts or even on my shows. Now, you might have found this podcast or training program even by searching money blocks or something like why can't I make more money? Why am I still stuck? Why am I feeling that I cannot receive more? Or maybe you're conflicted about money right now, kind of going places, going around and round in circles, and you can't seem to find a way out for a very long time. Or maybe you're just starting an online business or a new business and you're starting to get scared, worried and how much to charge.

Genecia Alluora: Or even you're procrastinating sending out an invoice and you're wondering what's going on. You know what? You might be wondering if the fact that you have even any money blocks at all. Well, for spoiler alert, it's true that you and I do have money blocks and so does every single one of us. Tens and thousands of entrepreneurs I've worked with over the last two decades. So what are money blocks. If you haven't been in my community here in Soul Rich Woman or you've even not read one of my best selling books, you might not have heard the term of money blocks before till now. Now, the concept of money blocks in itself is really quite strange because on the surface why wouldn't we want to make more money? It's kind of weird to think about it. Why wouldn't we want more money, more abundance? We want more salary, higher paycheck, better opportunities, more clients, more and more. And that's why you must stay vigilant and constantly work on them. So how do you know if you have them and what do you actually do about those money blocks? So in my program and in my books, I described a money block as anything that holds you back from making the money you want, creating the abundance that you want, finding those opportunities that you want.

Genecia Alluora: In soul, rich woman, we talk about the word soul. I always teach about how to increase your luck and your wealth and abundance of money into your life. How do you have luck and wealth? So this is usually underlying belief around fear or about money. You might not be aware of all of them but they are there, they are there. They are hiding. They are probably hidden in some closet somewhere in your soul. Maybe you have forgotten them or it's a completely hidden story that sabotages you in really sneaky ways. For example, a lot of people don't think they have any money blocks. They just think well, maybe I'm not just good enough for business yet, maybe I'm not passionate enough or maybe I'm not this person, I'm not that person kind of comparing themselves to somebody who's more successful than them and using them as an excuse to hold themselves back. Or maybe I'm not meant to be rich. Rich people is only for them and it's not for me. Or maybe you think that you have to work harder or maybe you're not qualified yet and it's too easy to think that you are not making enough money because it's something outside of yourself.

Genecia Alluora: My parents unrich, my family is not well to do, I'm not born with a silver spoon. So it's like the economy when my clients are always broke or always they are saying like oh, because of the economy, it's because of the recession, it's because of the government, it's because of the politics, et cetera, they will always use something and something else, an excuse outside of themselves or even yourself. Now, don't get me wrong, don't be angry with me, okay? Don't be angry with me, don't be upset with me because there are external factors that can totally impact what you are earning now. Okay? I totally get that. I understand and I hear you. However, believing that you can't do anything about those factors and start earning more, well, you know what? That's an inside job that you can control, and you can turn it around in your favor. In fact, you can increase your luck and wealth easily and super easily. So just make sure that your excuses aren't just money blocks. And I just want to tell you it is money blocks. So for example, if you're constantly telling yourself that clients cannot afford your current rates, your bosses and company cannot pay you, well, your business cannot do well because the economy is bad, well, I'm sure you can do something about it.

Genecia Alluora: You can uplevel your marketing to make sure your value is clearer, or you can find a new target market that's more aligned with your pricing. It is not true that people cannot afford you and your services, and it is not true that people can't pay for your products or services. Well, if your excuses are the economy, Genecia, is this instead it's because the people on the livestream are not willing to pay. All I can say, well, there are a lot of different ways that you could still help people and get paid for it the right way, in the right amount that you truly deserve, because you deserve to be rich. When you add value to people's lives because the word deserve, it means serve, right? You spelled D-E-S-E-R-V-E. When you serve, you deserve to be rich.

Genecia Alluora: So if you are too busy to create passive income right now, well, maybe you can raise your prizes, take on less clients, and free up some time by hiring some help. There are a lot of ways that you can make more money with exactly what you have right now. The idea is that you control what you earn. So how do you know if you have money belongs? So I just say that, well, you have them.

Genecia Alluora: And trust me, you have them. I have them. You have them. I have them. And why am I so super, really super sure of that? I know that because everyone does. I don't know a single entrepreneur or successful entrepreneur, even like Tony Robbins, T Half Egger, Russell Branson, Oprah Winfrey have even the very successful ones who don't deal with some form of money block. And that totally includes me. And even though I teach it in Arigato Money in Soul Rich Woman I teach this all this stuff, I still have the money blocks. So do you know the famous author Zig Zagler?

Genecia Alluora: He always also talks about motivation and mindset work as though you are having a shower on a daily basis. If you understand this concept, you just have to do it on a daily basis and forever, because it doesn't last. So you will have to do it all the time. And working on your money blocks is the same. Shifting your money blocks isn't like a one time cure, like taking a medicine and tomorrow it's gone.

Genecia Alluora: In fact, every time you hit a new level in your life or your business, you are going to see the same money blocks, whether it's the old one or similar ones, coming up again and again. However, the good news is that when you start to recognize them, you will deal with them quicker each time. In the meantime, I want you to really get this idea that if you really want to make more money and it's not just happening for you right now and it's not something that is outside of you, it is your money blocks. Okay? So if there's something that kind of keeping you trapped or going round and round in circles and you seem to cannot get out of it, most likely it is.

Genecia Alluora: And the good news is that you can have the money blocks and still make money all the time. So you might think, why do I even have this money blocks or blocks in the first place? So a lot of people have this underlying fear that it's not safe to be rich and it's not safe to have more money. And deep down, you probably have stories about what more money can lead to. And some of these fears will have negative outcomes, which is kind of weird, right?

Genecia Alluora: Because on the surface, you're like, I want to make more money. And yet at the same time, you have conflicting feelings about it. Like rich people are snobbish rich people are greedy. Money is the root of all evil and kind of conflict with your idea of wanting more money and afraid of becoming a rich person because you are fearful of becoming greedy and evil because of that. Just remember, money amplifies who you are.

Genecia Alluora: Money amplifies who you are. So I understand this because it's kind of like a protective mechanism that stops us from this perceived kind of image that we don't want to be associated with or a kind of harm that will harm us if we become it. So here are some things I hear a lot. Let's see how many of them kind of resonates with you. For example, I am not meant to be rich.

Genecia Alluora: I'm just not meant to be. And sometimes it shows up as well. Like, my family wasn't rich, so this is who I am. Making money has to be really hard. I have to work really hard to make it. Maybe you're feeling really guilty about making money when other people are struggling. Maybe you say something like, I just want to help people. I don't care about the money, Genesia. I just want to be spiritual and help people. I don't need to have a business that make money.

Genecia Alluora: I just want to help people, is a money block. All right? Because you probably have the stories about rich people who are greedy and selfish, and you've seen rich people charging a lot of money and you feel that that is wrong and you judge them. And maybe you worry that people won't like you as much if you make more money. Maybe you're worried about what your partner or your parents or your friends will say if you make more money than them.

Genecia Alluora: Maybe they will say stuff like, well, I just want to be happy Genesia. I don't care about being rich. That's a money block, too. And once you know how your particular money block shows up, you can kind of catch it and pigeonhole it or catch it and kind of deal with it so that it doesn't sabotage you. Let's take this really common one that I've seen countless of times.

Genecia Alluora: For example, I have to work really hard to make money. And if you have this money block, you'll probably find that you actively sabotage yourself to create a self fulfilling prophecy. You might not want to have a team. You would say, I don't want to hire people. I do it myself.

Genecia Alluora: It's best. I don't want to delegate. I will have to do everything myself so that it's perfect. Or sometimes you just want to procrastinate because you will want to do all the things yourself and burn midnight oil just to finish your work and prove that you really have to work really hard to make your money. When you catch yourself doing these destructive behaviors, you can stop in the moment.

Genecia Alluora: Breathe in, breathe out, and remember that it's just a money block and you can control how you act or respond in those situations. All right, here's how to stop struggling with those money blocks. Now, some people find that just identifying them is enough to make them disappear or dissolve it. Well, it's really awesome that when that really happens. However, some blocks can be a lot more difficult and stubborn than that.
