Genecia Alluora: Hi, my name is Genecia Alluora. I am the founder of Soul Rich Woman, the number one leading female entrepreneur network in Southeast Asia, connecting 200,000 women across the region. Before this, I was running a cafe retail chain with my partners in three countries Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, and we had 18 franchisees and licensees. After four years, we exited to a public listed company owner, and in 2012, I was looking for a way out to go from offline to online because I was working in a consultancy business and if I work, I get paid, I work, I get paid, when I don't work, I don't get paid. So in 2013, I successfully went online, making my first $100,000 in three months and $1 million in one year. So if you like to 10x your F word 10x your income. Genecia Alluora: Well, growing up wasn't easy. I was supporting myself through school since I was 14 years old. My mom, my dad and my brother as an instructor, yoga, teaching, yoga, aerobics and line dancing. I was constantly bullied in school because I wasn't able to buy new clothes, new shoes. I remember there was a time where the bullies cornered me. The girls cornered me and pull open my shirt, exposing my bra and saying, oh, you're wearing the same bra. And I felt humiliated. And there was another incident where one of them took my bag and threw it across the classroom floor, and all my books were strewn all across the floor. At that point, I just said I wanted to die. That day I went home because of being constantly bullied. I said, you know, I set at the 10th floor my kitchen, my home kitchen, 10th floor with my feet and legs over the ledge and almost wanted to jump. Thankfully, my mother came in and she grabbed me from the windowsill and yanked me back. And then I fell back onto the floor. From my years, I joined Miss Singapore because my friends encouraged me. But a lot of people think I'm born rich and born the silver spoon because you're Miss Singapore. I didn't have a lot of money. I had to save all this money to buy extra pair of heels to buy clothes. They are not sponsored to go for events. So it was really not easy and I was not groomed. I have self esteem issues. I was not able to carry myself very well.

Genecia Alluora: I didn't know how to do public speaking so I went to knock on doors. I after knocking on many doors, there was this lady I fondly remember her name. Her name is Rebecca. She gave me all her DVDs, CDs and notes on public speaking and she asked me for my bag and I took it out. She took my bag and she took out my wallet, and she emptied all the money in my wallet, which was about $16 for the entire month. I said, Rebecca, why are you taking all my money? That's all I have for the month. And she said this, Genecia yes, I'm sponsoring you. But I want to teach you the value. The concept of value exchange. What does it mean to of value? And you must understand this so that you will treasure and cherish all these things I'm giving you. My coaching programs are thousands and thousands of dollars, but if you understand this concept, you will be successful. And true enough, because of Rebecca's teaching and the understanding of the concept I won Miss Singapore Universe took place in 2006. I came in first in Singapore International and later on in 2011, representing Singapore once again in Singapore Chinese Cosmos.

Genecia Alluora: Just a couple of years ago, I was in a six figure debt in a failed partnership and I almost gave up hope running my businesses. But good thing I met this mentor. His name is James, James Wee, and he encouraged me to not give up hope in business because if this is what I've done for my entire life, this is what's the worse than going down, right? The only way is up. So I took his advice, and that was when I decided to go from offline to online, make my first million dollars in a single year in 2013, and invested in a cafe retail chain. Four years later, we exited to a public listed company. So, investing back into Soul Rich Woman today, the number one female entrepreneur network in Southeast Asia is because to shortcut their success to really help them to have a faster and easier learning curve and make education accessible to all. Really, I want to help more women to overcome their limiting beliefs and the issues they face, to step up their comfort zone, to go towards the dreams that they've always wanted to achieve. Now, why am I doing this? Well, she's my big why up to today. My mom is a leader in the community. She helps other women, she supports other women. She guides other women to be successful as a woman, as a wife.

Genecia Alluora: So I wanted to be just like her. And that is why I'm doing what I'm doing. Even up to today, I really believe that when a woman changes her life, her entire community benefits. Give yourself a second chance. Never say no to your failures like I did six figure deaths, almost committed suicide again. Depressed. But I overcame once again. As a woman, we have the power in our hands. Never let your fears hold you back. Quit thinking and start doing. Life is really short and keep pursuing what you truly ever wanted to achieve.
